Kimball Physics electron emitters, including Lanthanum Hexaboride, Tantalum, Barium Oxide and Yttrium,  provide reliable sources of electrons for use in a variety of instruments including scanning and transmission electron microscopy, lithography, x-ray generation, free electron lasers, electron accelerators, and other custom applications.

Kimball Physics Multi-CF™ vacuum chambers and mounting hardware are an integrated system of robust and versatile components,  providing significant capabilities and options in UHV applications where there are spatial constraints, high precision, and where a high density of experimental apparatus is required.

Detectors

Kimball Physics Faraday Cup and Phosphor Screen particle detectors, with no moving parts,  are stand-alone units that are mounted in the vacuum system, or integrated with the electron gun,  to provide visual and quantitative information about beam position, size, magnitude and the distribution.
