Description

Stainless 304 wire stock may be used for making low-current electrical connectors. While a convenient means of joining wires, rods, and making electrical connections is by using the various wirenuts and wound wire stock furnished, wire stock can also be used to make up new wirenuts. With stainless steel, tantalum, or molybdenum wire stock, wirenuts are made by winding wire on a rod whose diameter equals the final inside diameter desired.

Stainless Steel (SS) wire products include:
SS-WI-XXX-YYY (XXX= wire dia. ranging from 0.005″ to 0.032″, YYY = the coil length in feet)
All stainless SS coils are 100 ft. except the 0.032″ dia. which is 50 ft.

Tungsten wire products include:
W-WI-XXX-1 (XXX= wire dia. ranging from 0.005″ to 0.020″)
All Tungsten parts have a wire length of 1 foot.

Molybdenum wire products include:
Mo-WI-XXX-2 (XXX= wire dia. ranging from 0.020″ to 0.040″)
All Tungsten parts have a wire length of 2 feet.

Tantalum wire products include:
Ta-WI-030-1 (wire dia.= 0.030″, length= 1 foot)
Ta-WI-060-1 (wire dia.= 0.030″, length= 1 foot)
