RHEED applications: Phosphor screen mounted on Conflat CF Thin Flange.
The phosphor screen, with options for ruggedized phosphor (with binder) or UHV (without binder) is bonded to conductive glass and then mounted on the thin CF flange. The phosphor detector is typically mounted in front of a vacuum viewport.
Phosphor Screen bound to conductive glass in various sizes and mounted on CF Thin Flanges:
- 1.43″ diameter Phosphor Screen (2.75″ CF Thin Flange)
- 2.83″ diameter Phosphor Screen (4.50″ CF Thin Flange)
- 4.20″ diameter Phosphor Screen (6.00″ CF Thin Flange)
Note: the CF Thin Flange must be inserted between two Conflat flanges which provide the necessary bending resistance.
