Product Overview  Kimball Physics reduces the number of components and welds in vacuum chambers by machining multiple sealing surfaces out of a single piece of metal. Instead of welding chambers out of many pieces as in the conventional manner, KP manufactures vacuum chambers out monolithic structures

Overview

Kimball Physics Multi-CF vacuum chambers are compact, multi-port UHV fittings with internal and external mounting systems.  They are particularly advantageous where there are spatial constraints and where a high density of experimental apparatus is required.   UHV performance is improved with highly polished surfaces, contoured interiors and minimal welds.  The built-in internal and external mounting capabilities and apparatus save time and eliminate the need for custom design and machining for experimental set-ups.  Standard accessory elements include, Groove Grabbers, eV Parts and External Mounting Brackets, which are all designed to attach and fit together so that custom experimental set-ups can be made easily, accurately and reproducibly.  The combination of benefits generally results in improved experimental utility and versatility, vacuum performance and often a lower overall cost.
