Magdeburg Hemispheres/Spheres

Description: 

UHV vacuum chambers made from hemispherical shells.  Two versions are available: welded and bolted.

Magdeburg Spheres (welded):

• High port densities, possibility of many versions
• Expanded bores with exceptional access
• Reduced overall system size
• Grabber Grooves on all sealing surfaces (except 1 1/3 CF) 
• Utilizes Perimeter Weld Flanges
• Elimination of most nipple-tube sections
• Approximately half the normally required welds
• Made from 316L stainless steel

Magdeburg Hemispheres:

• Two versions: one used singly and one that can be paired
• High port density and exceptional access
• Grabber Grooves on all sealing surfaces (except 1 1/3 CF)
• Large 3.600 in. spherical I.D.
• Expanded bores
• Made from 316L stainless steel
