Kimball Physics is a key supplier of electron guns for research, development and production applications. Electron guns are designed for use in a wide variety of ultra high vacuum (UHV) surface physics, space physics, and processing applications. Guns can be focusable for small spot size, for applications such as x-ray production, welding and RHEED; or flood beams for charge neutralization, electron beam scrubbing, space simulation and radiation damage studies. Electron Gun Systems are categorized in 3 energy ranges:

• Low Energy (5keV max)
• Medium Energy (30keV max)
• High Energy (100keV max)
