Emitters (Cathodes /
Filaments): PART NUMBER / PRICE TABLES
|

LaB6
ES-423 cathode mounted on a standard AEI base |
Several
types of cathodes for use in general vacuum physics research are
available directly from Kimball Physics. These cathodes can be mounted on a standard
ceramic AEI base (with Kovar pins),
mounted on a Kimball Physics ceramic compact base (CB-104 or CB-105), or mounted
on a customer-supplied ceramic base (tooling charge may apply).
AEI bases with molybdenum pins or special ground bases are available
for an additional charge.
User-replaceable firing units containing the appropriate cathode or
ion source are
available for all mounted Kimball Physics units (when ordering, specify
by electron or ion gun model and any special options such as
high current or small spot).
High
brightness single-crystal lanthanum hexaboride (LaB6) cathodes and
Tungsten (W) filaments are available on various bases for use in
most electron microscopes. See
SEM/TEM
cathodes table below .
Prices / specifications subject to change without
notice.
It is not necessarily possible to achieve all maximum specifications
simultaneously. |
